When should I arrive in St. Louis?

For our out-of-town guests, we recommend arriving in St. Louis no later than the morning of Friday, 5 April. The wedding is the main event, so no need to stay in town beyond Sunday, 7 April.

Will there be transportation provided to the wedding?

Shuttle transportation will depart from the Loews hotel for the ceremony and reception at 5:00 p.m. Transportation will be available for return trips beginning at 9:30 p.m and will run continuously. The shuttle from the hotel to the venue should take approximately 5-10 minutes.

What’s the deal with parking at the wedding?

For local guests, we’ve reserved a limited number of pre-paid parking spaces in the Abrams Parking Garage on the corner of 16th and Walnut (just behind the Enterprise Center Garage). There will be a security guard and a sign saying Stifel Theatre/Abrams Garage at the entrance to the garage. Just let them know you are with our wedding, and they will allow you to park. Please note that vehicles cannot be left in the garage overnight. Please text Marcia by March 23rd if you plan to park here.

Is the venue accessible?

Guests with the need for mobility assistance may be dropped off at the corner of 15th Street and Market Street. The front entrance of Stifel Theatre has been fitted with an accessible door to accommodate guests who require the need for a wheelchair. Elevator access is available once inside the venue.

Can I take photos at the wedding?

We know that guests will want to capture memories of the day and we can’t wait to see all of your snaps. However, we respectfully request that no photos are taken during the ceremony, as we want to make sure our photographer is able to fully capture the moment without phone screens in the pictures. You’re welcome to take as many photos as you want at cocktail hour and the reception!

What will the reception be like?

We’ll be serving a plated dinner, followed by live music and open bar service continued throughout the evening. A late night snack will be provided to keep the party going!

What will the weather be like in St. Louis in April?

Average temperatures in St. Louis in early April are a high of 65° F (18° C) and low of 44° F (7° C). All wedding events will take place indoors. Similar to Scotland…if you don’t like the weather in St. Louis, just wait a few minutes.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We’ll ensure you’ll be able to make note of any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

What’s the dress code?

Formal attire suggested. For women, this could mean a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress or a dressy pantsuit. Men could wear a tuxedo or a formal dark suit. For our Scottish guests, kilts are more than welcome! It’s most important that you wear something that makes you feel comfortable, but we do kindly ask that you wear something more formal than jeans.

Can I bring my kids?

In general, all of the wedding events will be adults only. We realise our international guests will be travelling a long way from home and, to facilitate being able to attend, are welcome to bring the children named on your invitations.
